Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect about you when you use dayzcheats.store and the products we distribute, how we use that data, and what rights you have over it.
1. Data we collect
- Account information — the username you choose and, optionally, an email address you provide.
- IP address — recorded on account creation, login, and license activation for rate limiting, fraud prevention, and abuse investigation.
- Hardware fingerprint (HWID) — a one-way SHA-256 hash of a small set of device identifiers, used to bind one license to one device.
- Activation log — timestamps and outcomes of license activations, kept for security and support purposes.
- Payment metadata — the cryptocurrency, the amount, the on-chain transaction ID (TxID) you submit at checkout, and the address the payment was sent to. All of this data is already public on the underlying blockchain; we simply record it against your account.
- Support ticket contents — the messages you send us through the ticket system and any files you attach.
2. Data we don't collect
We do not collect gameplay data, keystrokes, screenshots, microphone or camera input, browsing history from your device, or any content unrelated to the operation of our product. We do not embed third-party analytics or advertising trackers on the site.
3. Cookies
The site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Your session token is stored in your browser's localStorage, which is functionally similar to a first-party cookie but scoped to this site only. Removing it (logging out or clearing site data) ends your session immediately.
4. Data retention
Active accounts are retained indefinitely so long as the account is in use. If you request deletion, we retain a minimal anti-fraud record (username, HWID hash, IP addresses of recent activations) for up to 90 days after deletion, then purge it. Payment records are retained as long as our tax/accounting obligations require.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Cryptocurrency payments are settled on public blockchains — we see only the destination address (ours) and the TxID you tell us about; the sending address is inherently visible to us because it's on the blockchain, but we do not attempt to correlate it with your real-world identity.
We may disclose data if compelled by a valid legal process, or if we have a good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property, or the rights of others.
6. Your rights
Where applicable law grants them, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Deletion — ask us to delete your account and associated data (subject to the retention window above).
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format where technically feasible.
To exercise any of these rights, open a support ticket and specify what you want.
7. Security
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. HWID identifiers are stored only as SHA-256 hashes, never in raw form. All traffic to and from the site uses TLS. Payment addresses are stored separately from user accounts. No system is perfectly secure and we make no guarantee against every possible attack — but we run this operation lean and paranoid on purpose.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be surfaced on the site the next time you log in.
